    Urbannao Architects
Urbannao is a team of Architects from NYC, who specialize in procedural design, and won a contest to build the new Johnson & Johnson welcome center for the 2008 Olympics. They came to Beijing and hired me to take pictures of them in Beijing... We did this shoot in about an hour and a half.

Here they are at the forbidden city!

    Long Time no Update
It's been a while since I updated - but ive still been keeping busy. Im in NYC now and pretty jetlagged so im gonna use this three-o'clock hour for something constructive.

Gugong! - The forbidden city. Tengri Magazine, the Kazakhstan national airline's in-flight mag for whom i did this feature on Beijing liked my work and asked me to do an article on the forbidden city. They haven't finished putting it together yet, but here's some photos.

    Chinese Landscape
I was digging through some of my recent shots and I found (and liked) this landscape I shot two weeks ago... It struck me as almost in the style of Chinese landscape paintings.

    Busy Again
Well I went through a short period of relitive inactivity... I was writing a guidebook for Fodor's and traveling a lot, teaching some english, but not getting too much photography done (and feeling rather like i needed to work more). In the past week and a half things have really turned around. I'm teaching lucrative english clients, starting a company, doing shoots, writing; even my social life is better... everything is going full bore. Anyway, enough of the small talk. I did a shoot on Wendesday for a PR companyt and handed the disk to them yesterday (the next day). It was a press conferance and though they can be very boring everyone was very happy with the photographic results....
